Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago // Annual Appeal Video Series

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago is a nonprofit that provides youth with after school activities in some of Chicago’s toughest neighborhoods. As part of the organization’s annual appeal, they were mailing postcards that profiled specific club members and their personal stories. They wanted a series of videos that would compliment the mailers in an online multimedia presentation. Our idea was to profile specific club members and tell a story about their personal experiences with the neighborhood clubs.


We went to three of the nonprofit’s Chicago clubs to film with our DSLR and slow motion video cameras. We also recorded professional audio on location.

We edited all three videos in the series and worked with the client to deliver a seamless online visual presentation to its donors.

Methodist Hospital of Chicago // Fundraising Event


Bethany Methodist Communities is a Chicago nonprofit that provides faith-based health and housing programs that serve the greater Chicago adult community. The organization operates Methodist Hospital of Chicago, Partners in Healthcare, Bethany Retirement Community, and Chestnut Square at The Glen independent senior living community.

During their annual fundraising event, which was held at the Holiday Inn North Shore/Skokie, the organization focused on its Good Samaritan Fund and how that Fund changes the lives of its employees, volunteers, patients, and residents.

This is the third year that our studio provided complete Audio Visual support, event production, and branding services for the fundraiser. A series of three videos were produced, which were shown to a live audience.

Prevent Child Abuse America // Branding Film


This Chicago nonprofit wanted to create greater brand awareness and recognition by developing a video to be disseminated online as well as to each of its 50 state chapters nationwide. The primary purpose of the video is to portray Prevent Child Abuse America’s mission, brand, and nationwide reach, which tells the organization’s story in a visually compelling way.

Our crew filmed for three total days in the field. We interviewed key staff, board, and volunteers at the nonprofit’s Chicago headquarters. Using an anamorphic technique, we filmed the interviews against a plain white background and edited between three cameras. For the final vignette, we cast several actors who helped target various demographics.

Various outdoor scenes were filmed throughout the Chicago area in one day. Makeup services were also provided for all shoot days.
Chicago corporate video makeup services
The branding video was added to the nonprofit’s YouTube channel and distributed via social media. We also provided the client with 500 DVDs, which were professionally printed and distributed to potential donors.
