Kelly + Mike // St James Chapel + Newberry Library
We have filmed several weddings at St. James Chapel in Chicago, but this is the first time we filmed a Chicago wedding reception Newberry Library. The building has so much history and was a perfect backdrop for Kelly and Mike’s reception.
Kelly and Mike met by chance outside a Chicago bar and hit it off immediately. Kelly likens it to a love at first sight moment. 3 1/2 years later, Mike asked Kelly to marry him. They had a lot of nice, personal touches throughout their day; including Kelly’s veil/jewelry, votive candles lighting the way throughout the Newberry Library halls, and beautiful pastel color pallet with peonies flowers as the backdrop.
