They say there’s nothing like a mother’s love for her daughter. I definitely found that to be the case at Alyssa and Tom’s wedding. When I first arrived, I noticed all the little details that Alyssa put into her bridal preps…customized cups/shirts/bags for all her bridesmaids, customized hangers for all the bridal party dresses, customized signs…the list goes on. Alyssa admitted she frequently checked Pinterest for ideas. While I was looking at all these nice touches Alyssa assembled for me to film, I saw her mom taking everything in with what might have been a small tear. I pulled Alyssa’s mom aside and what transpired was a real conversation about the stages of life and giving away your daughter to someone she loves. This interview immediately became the focal point in the edit. We hope you enjoy this story as much as we enjoyed filming it!!
