Everything about Bob and Lauren’s Chicago wedding was quintessentially Chicago. A friend of the couple had been trying to introduce them for months. Neither of them put much effort into following through with the introduction…until it became a running joke among their friends. On St. Patrick’s Day in 2012, Bob introduced himself to Lauren’s roommate, asking if he was the person Lauren was supposed to meet. As luck would have it, she was! The two have been inseparable since.
The bridesmaids picked their own dresses with a cream and neutral color palette which beautifully complimented Lauren’s stunning dress and flowers. Lake Michigan served as the backdrop for the couple’s ceremony. With birds chirping in the background and boats dancing in the water, it was the perfect setting for their vows.
