Whitney + Vince // Patrick C Haley Mansion

Whitney met Vince while he was working at DSW: Designer Shoe Warehouse. Whitney was looking for another perfect pair to compliment her wardrobe but the store didn’t have her size. Vince called around to other stores and was able to find what she needed. That first time they met, Vince claims he asked her out but says his co-workers were talking over him. Luckily, Vince would have a second chance. The shoes were shipped to Vince’s store. As luck would have it, Vince was in the store again at the exact moment Whitney arrived to try the new shoes on. Whitney must have made a good first impression. Vince noticed she wasn’t wearing her glasses during the second visit to his store. They struck up a conversation and Vince asked her out a second time. They went on their first date, which lasted approximately 4-6 hours, but no one really knows. Time flew by…they weren’t keeping track! Vince was eventually known as “the shoe guy” amongst Whitney’s friends.
The Patrick C. Haley Mansion in Joliet, Illinois was the perfect venue for Whitney and Vince’s vintage-themed wedding. While you watch their trailer, take note of Whitney’s dress, which was fashioned out of her Grandmother’s wedding gown. Shoes used with that same gown on her Grandmother’s wedding day (June 9, 1925) also make an appearance in this video trailer!
