Sipa + Asheesh // 2 days in Elkhart, Indiana
By having a daughter, the father knows that one day he might receive “the call”. When Sipa’s dad received that call, he wasn’t ready to give up his daughter. Admittedly, he still wasn’t ready to give up his daughter on her wedding day. He detailed that during his speech, which was a highlight of the evening. We showcase it in this wedding trailer. His words provide an interesting look into what being father of the bride really means.
Sipa and Asheesh could not have been a more perfect fit for our style of filming. They loved our creativity and were willing to give us complete artistic direction, which always leads to amazing things.
As the story goes, they met while attending Indiana University. Sipa grew up in Elkhart, Indiana and wanted to have her wedding there. Traveling all over the United States while in residency, Sipa & Asheesh were able to grow their relationship into an engagement and marriage.
Traveling from Chicago to Elkhart, Indiana gave us great joy. We love filming Indian weddings because of all the beautiful colors and culture. This wedding was no exception and can only be described as “Epic”…from the decor to the clothes to Main Street being shut down for the baraat (groom’s procession). Their venues were also very neat. The garba/raas night was at the RV/MH Hall of Fame and their wedding ceremony took place on the historic Lerner Theatre stage. How cool is that?
