Ashley + Geddy // Hobart, Indiana
Ashley and Geddy love the outdoors but they definitely love snow. They met through mutual friends at Gravel Lake in Michigan while Ashley was on a snowboard trip and Geddy was snowmobiling. So, it’s only fitting they became engaged while vacationing in Breckenridge, Colorado. During a snowstorm, Geddy surprised Ashley with a ring on top of the ski mountain. Ashley’s gift from Geddy on the morning of their wedding was a photo of that moment.
Even more memorable than their engagement will be their wedding day. Ashley and Geddy arrived at the church for their wedding ceremony, but realized moments before the ceremony that their marriage certificate was left behind at the hotel. They sent their Maid of Honor and Best Man to retrieve the document while the church’s pastor and instrumentalists kept guests entertained for about 45 minutes.
Running with the marriage certificate in her hand, Ashley’s sister and Maid of Honor saved the day. The ceremony continued without any additional hitches. This will certainly be a memorable day and we were honored to be there to capture it.
