Hindu Weddings Traditions Unveiled DVD Banner Ad
Through internet searches and referrals, Sonal & Vishal saw our wedding cinematography work online and instantly fell in love. Our studio is based out of the Chicagoland area. So, they wanted us to travel to Indianapolis, Indiana to film their 2-day Indian wedding. After I heard about their wedding venues, I knew this was a wedding we had to film. Their Sangeet and Garba/Raas events took place at the historic Indiana State Library. The marble floors and card catalogs against the colors of an Indian wedding were awesome. I saved the footage captured from this night for their final wedding film.

This wedding video trailer concentrates entirely on the wedding day. Another very historic landmark, Union Station in Downtown Indianapolis, was the center of all Sonal and Vishal’s wedding day events. First opened on September 20, 1853, it was the very first union station in the world! The architecture, pantings on the walls & ceilings, and various union station features throughout the building added so much character. We’ve filmed many Indian weddings. Anyone who has attended an Indian wedding before knows that performances are a staple. Usually, friends and family perform for the couple on the Sangeet night to entertain and bring the two families together. Filming at so many Indian weddings, I’ve seen many performances. The performances I witnessed by the Purdue University Raas Team have to top all of them. During both nights, the performers “wow-ed!” Sonal and Vishal’s wedding guests…a definite highlight of the weekend.

Sonal and Vishal, thank you for asking us to film your beautiful wedding. We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

Lisa + Adam // Colorado

Palmer Lake, Colorado (a suburb of Colorado Springs) could not have been a more perfect background for my high school friend’s marriage to his beautiful bride. Lisa & Adam have always had a love for Colorado. It’s no wonder why they picked this beautiful tapestry for their big day. I’ve known Adam for many years and was introduced to Lisa. She could not be a more perfect match for him. Imagine my joy when Adam called to say that he had proposed to Lisa & that they wanted me to be in their bridal party.

Planning a destination wedding was no easy task. Lisa & Adam traveled to the Colorado Springs area many times and picked out the best venues. All of their guests also traveled to Colorado Springs to be part of their wedding weekend. With the Colorado Springs wildfires in the distance and their reception site on & off the pre-evacuation area, their wedding went on without a hitch. The officiating priest joked during their ceremony, “I’m going to call this a baptized in fire wedding.”

One of the more poignant moments was a part that most people weren’t able to see…it was Lisa & Adam’s first look; where they saw each other for the first time before their ceremony. With the mountains in the distance, Lisa leaned her head on Adam’s shoulder and Adam wrapped his arms around her. For a few minutes, they were able to unwind and just be with each other. That first look plays a large role in the trailer.
