02 Nov Callie + Anay // Madison, WI
Callie & Anay both attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and met while at a conference at the University of Dallas. They planned their wedding weekend in Madison, Wisconsin. The first day of Hindu ceremonies included the Vidhi (prayer ceremonies) and Pithi (rubbing yellow paste). The setting for these ceremonies was beautiful-set back in the forest in a pavilion in Madison, Wisconsin. The mosquitos were out but the peaceful tone of nature and the mantras from the Hindu priest were beautiful.
The second day of ceremonies included a baraat, which started with Anay and his groomsmen aboard a boat, circling Lake Monona. Everyone continued the baraat along the bike path to Monona Terrace; where the Hindu wedding ceremony began under the mandap with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Lake Manona.
After the Hindu wedding ceremony, Callie and Anay both got ready for their Christian ceremony at Grace Episcopal Church. It was another beautiful setting. The church stands in the shadows of the Madison, Wisconsin“>Wisconsin State Capital building. The wedding party danced the night away to a band inside Monona Terrace Convention Center & Banquet Hall. It was an amazing weekend in Madison, Wisconsin and we’re so happy that we could film this amazing celebration!
Several weeks after the wedding, we were hired to film a corporate video in Madison, Wisconsin. So, we brought our drone and were able to get some really nice shots of Lake Manona, which we incorporated into Callie & Anay’s trailer and film.
