25 Aug Vicky + Eric // A Chicago Holy Family Church Wedding

Postcard Thank You Note from Chicago wedding bride

In the morning, the bride and groom usually exchange gifts and/or notes. The notes are usually a sentimental look back at the couple’s journey together and their hopes for a great future. Instead of a note, Vicky was handed a laptop computer. On the computer was a recorded video message that Eric put together for her to watch. This is the first time we saw the groom using video for his message! Needless to say, it was a big hit! The couple also blended their Mexican and Filipino cultures into beautiful wedding ceremony traditions, which you’ll see in this video trailer. From the amazing sweetheart table to the completely customized seating card/picture frame table to the touching Mother/Daughter dance…we had plenty of great visuals to capture.

Vicky and Eric, you’ve been such a great couple to work with and the love you have for each other is evident. We hope you enjoy this trailer as a wonderful memory of that emotional day.

11 Aug Neera + Shreyas // A Libertyville, Illinois Indian Wedding

Hindu Weddings Traditions Unveiled DVD Banner Ad

Just like so many of our clients, Neera and Shreyas were looking for something different. They didn’t want the typical long, boring wedding video. Through recommendations from their friends, they saw our wedding cinematography work and instantly fell in love with our short form wedding films.

Their wedding was a perfect platform for our creative style of filming. While Neera and Shreyas are both Indian by ethnicity, their wedding still represented the blending of two cultures. Neera’s family comes from Northern India and practices Jainism and Shreyas’ family originated from Southern India and practice Brahminical Hinduism.

Battling on and off rain throughout the entire day, we were able to capture some really nice shots during the baraat (groom’s procession) and at Independence Grove with our Steadicam (flying camera shots).

We hope you enjoy this wedding trailer as a wonderful memory of this beautiful day.
