Stunning…that’s how Roshni + Palak’s 3-day Hindu wedding can best be described. Our cameras covered all three days of events; starting with the mehndi, manglik prasango, garba/raas, and ending with the ceremony/reception. Eight crew members and five cameras captured the culmination of an amazing series of wedding events. The Hindu wedding ceremonies are full of tradition and color, which go well with our style of storytelling and cinematography.
A stunning wedding wouldn’t be complete without a few surprises. Palak surprised his bride-to-be with a beautifully handwritten note and the keys to a brand new car!
Guests were equally surprised to see 4,000 imported red roses from Colombia adorning the mandap’s dome; a sight that was truly amazing to see. Roshni came up with the mandap’s concept, which was carried out by Yanni and his design team. Yanni told me they created the dome out of styrofoam, placed each rose steam inside their own small vase with water (to protect them from wilting), and inserted each one by hand into the dome. We rolled out the 24′ camera crane and captured some nice shots of the mandap.
All of the highlights were edited into this Same Day Edit wedding trailer, which was shown before 600 stunned guests at their reception. Roshni + Palak were an awesome couple to work with and we’re sad to see the weekend come to a close. We hope you enjoy this trailer as a beautiful memory of this auspicious occasion.
