Hindu Weddings Traditions Unveiled DVD Banner Ad

EPIC is probably the best way to describe this Indian wedding at the Chicago Cultural Center on Michigan Avenue. Shuchi & Varun’s day started out with a first look in the Cultural Center’s amazing staircase. The architecture at this building is something to behold. After that, we did a photo session around Millennium Park. When Shuchi and Varun told me about their wedding venue, I started to think about the baraat. How many times do you see a white horse, escorted by banging drums and dancing people, walking down the streets of Chicago? Varun couldn’t help but smile as Chicagoans stopped what they were doing to take pictures of the baraat. As the baraat approached the Cultural Center’s front door, several hundred people crowded the streets and sidewalks, holding their phones up to take a picture.

Shuchi’s entrance was just as epic….14 bridesmaids…all wearing pink sarees led the way for the bride. Their wedding party danced the night away to music by DJ Runi under the beautiful 38′ Tiffany glass dome!
