Hindu Weddings Traditions Unveiled DVD Banner Ad

One of the many neat things about filming an Indian wedding is the fact that many people often travel from far countries like India just for the occasion. At Inshu and Aneel’s wedding, I met a lady who traveled from India to attend the wedding and had never stepped foot in the U.S. in her entire life. It’s the feeling of friends and family surrounding you on your special day that make it so memorable. Not only were guests attending Inshu and Aneel’s wedding in-person, but they also tuned in (from many countries, including India) to a live internet webcast, which we provided online.

In this trailer, you’ll see Inshu and Aneel passing each other in the elevators. I’ll have to give full credit to Inshu for orchestrating the idea for their first look. It required more coordination than I had originally thought. The idea was to film them with one camera going down together and the second camera would capture the two doors opening and the two of them seeing each other for the first time before their ceremony. The problem we encountered was that hotel guests on other floors were calling the elevators. So, Inshu or Aneel would head down in the elevator and had to stop at various floors. Needless to say, it became slightly entertaining to watch Inshu and Aneel go up and down on the elevators.

We filmed two days of events for Inshu and Aneel’s wedding: the mehndi party night, and the wedding ceremony/reception day. This couple had a great sense of humor, which you’ll see throughout their trailer. Inshu and Aneel, thank you so much for asking us to film your beautiful wedding events.
