Venue One Chicago Wedding Video

04 Sep Stacey + Kevin // St James Chapel + Venue One

Stacey’s dad said it best during his reception speech…it’s not too often that you attend a wedding where the bride and groom’s parents knew each other before their kids were born. Back in the day, Kevin’s dad delivered newspapers to Stacey’s dad’s house. The two dads became friends and their families frequently got together. One day, Stacey asked Kevin if he’d like to meet up for coffee and the rest is history!

During their wedding day, we counted at least three times where Kevin teared up in front of our cameras. The love Stacey and Kevin have for each other is beautiful. One of the many nice touches we loved about Stacey and Kevin’s wedding day was seeing their parents wedding videos playing at the cocktail hour. So fun to see how wedding videos (and clothing/hair styles) have changed so much over time!

At the time Stacey first contacted us, it wasn’t about her wedding (she wasn’t engaged yet!). She was working as a television Producer for Oprah’s Harpo Productions. While working on an Oprah show about India, our Indian wedding work caught their eye. Watching some of the Indian weddings we filmed air on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” was a fun experience. Stacey was instrumental in coordinating all of that. So, we were honored to be contacted again by Stacey to film her wedding!

Congratulations, Stacey and Kevin! We wish you many hears of (happy) tears and joy!

Danada House Wedding

26 Aug Iwona + Blake // Danada House

We love the story of how Iwona and Blake met. As Blake was sitting in the VIP section at a party, Iwona walked up with a mutual friend. Blake says he heard Iwona’s Polish accent and used what little Polish he knew to introduce himself. In Polish, Blake said, “My name is Blake and I’m a pirate”. As legend has it, he’s not a pirate but he did steal Iwona’s heart.

Blake went to school and studied film. We are honored to have been asked to film your special day!
