Chicago Crowdfunding Video Production

For this video production, we were to produce a video that would appear on the website’s homepage. The video would have no sound and would loop in the website’s banner as viewers visited the website. We cast various actors and locations where we could show how the online service is used. Everything was filmed in one day in Palatine and Chicago with our Sony A7Sii video camera and 3-axis gimbal stabilizer.

In all, field video production, post production, and delivery took place within a week. The final video was delivered in various formats for optimal web streaming on various platforms.

Children’s Advocacy Center // Fundraising Video

The Children’s Advocacy Center of North & Northwest Cook County provides resources that empower and heal abused children. They also provide resources to help prevent abuse and violence against children.

The nonprofit organization is based in Hoffman Estates with satellite offices in Evanston, Northbrook, and Streamwood. Through forensic interviews conducted in cooperation with local law enforcement authorities, children are able to share their stories of abuse one time in a safe place. The interviews are recorded for investigation and legal purposes. About 400 children are interviewed each year at the The Children’s Advocacy Center. Before this nonprofit organization was founded, children would often have to tell their story of abuse several times in less than ideal settings.

For this video production, the nonprofit wanted to raise money for its aging video recording system. Over the course of one day, we filmed several interviews and b-roll. In this video, we not only wanted to show viewers what the video recording system looked like but also why the system needed to be replaced. So, we used some video footage captured from the system and included it in the video to show the poor audio and video quality they currently get from the system.

After our video was played at the event, the nonprofit raised over $25,000, which exceeded their goal!

eSutures.com // Branding Film

eSutures.com is an online medical retailer that matches surplus medical supplies to medical providers who need them. The company’s owner brainstormed the idea after being in the medical sales industry. He noticed excess inventory was just sitting on the shelves of hospitals, doctor’s offices, and other medical facilities. That’s where eSutures.com began!

We wanted to tell their brand’s story so we interviewed several employees during our day of filming. We had two of our Sony A7Sii cameras for maximum flexibility in post color grading. We also filmed b-roll shots around their Mokena, Illinois warehouse, which is quite impressive. When they receive an order, the warehouse fills it. In many cases, the customer receives their product the next morning for surgeries. The rapid pace of their company is amazing and they needed a video to show how they make it happen.

Their video was distributed on social media and also lives on their website.
