Generations Insurance Video

For the 25th Annual PLUS (Professional Liability Underwriting Society) Conference, Monitor Liability Managers, LLC hired Delack Media Group to create a video. This video was shown to attendees who were at the event and it’s purpose was to highlight how the two organizations compliment each other. The conference’s theme this year was “Generations”. Both organizations were celebrating milestones. PLUS was celebrating its 25th year as an organization and Monitor Liability Managers, LLC was celebrating 20 years in business. So, we (Delack Media Group & Monitor Liability Managers, LLC) decided to use that theme in the video by showing the future generation of PLUS members…kids.

We created a script, which had the actors portraying professional roles; similar to those played out on an everyday basis by employees at Monitor Liability Managers, LLC. The next task in production was casting. Monitor Liability Managers, LLC handled all of the casting by recruiting volunteers amongst its employees. A casting call was sent out and they received an overwhelming response for volunteer actors.

We coordinated field production for Columbus Day; when all schools were off. On the day of the video shoot, Monitor employees brought their children to work dressed for their parts!

Bethandy Methodist Hospital Fundraiser

Chicago non profit hospital fundraiser skokie holiday inn

Bethany Methodist Communities is a non profit organization in Chicago that provides independent/assisted living through four communities, comprehensive healthcare services through Methodist Hospital of Chicago, and licensed homecare services.
This marks the third year we’ve worked with Bethany Methodist Communities on their Good Samaritan Fundraiser. The purpose of the fundraising event is to raise funds for healthcare costs that are not otherwise paid for by traditional insurance policies.

Bethany Methodist Communities has an open door policy and takes care of patients, regardless of their financial situation. The organization’s mission and message fit well with our style of emotional, visual storytelling. We worked with their team to create a series of videos, which were shown during their fundraising event at the Holiday Inn Skokie. Delack Media Group also provided AV rental of two large rear screen projectors/screens, complete audio support for the show, technicians, and a live show producer.

While planning its fundraising event, they contacted Delack Media Group, asking if we could produce a video that told an emotional, visual story about the hospital and its impact on patients. We came up with the concept of interviewing former patients’ families and combining those soundbites with visuals of them and of the new facility. Paired with musical scores in post production, their personal stories came alive. Eight months later, and many months of planning…we were able to produce a video that tells a story about the organization and its mission. The Children’s Service Board raised over $412,000 for Lurie Children’s Hospital, which was a record-setting year for the organization!
