We were hired to do a video production in Champaign, Illinois at Latitude, which is a really neat student apartment housing complex. The commercial real estate complex has a lot of fun amenities that cater to college students. The student apartments are located directly across the street from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

We filmed for one day with our ground camera, the Sony A7Sii HD video camera on a 3-axis gimbal stabilizer and aerial drone video was captured from various angles of the building, including the outdoor pool area.

We started planning for this testimonial video production about a year ago. MisterHomes is a real estate agency based in the Northwest Chicago suburb of Palatine, Illinois. However, they service the entire Chicago real estate market. They wanted to increase their suite of videos while educating potential clients about their real estate services.

We developed a video marketing plan that involved the video production of a real estate branding film. After that was created and posted on the company’s website, we produced a series of testimonial videos. They were filmed in Palatine, Schaumburg, and Wadsworth, Illinois over the course of two days. During pre-production, we learned more about each client’s story and really focused in on putting viewers in their shoes through the visuals we filmed and storytelling. All of the videos were edited. We also created a compilation and social media video cutdowns. The series was added to our DVD style streaming menus where a library of videos can be selected and viewed.

The Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) provides affordable housing to more than 62,000 low-income families. To help with that mission, they needed a supplier who shared their vision.

Chicago Video Production

Lowe’s Home Improvement began working with the CHA to provide safe places for Chicagoans to live. Lowe’s hired us to produce a storytelling-based interview video production about this exciting new partnership.

Chicago Video Production

For this Chicago video production, we filmed for three days on the project. The first day, we filmed an interview with CHA’s CEO, Eugene Jones Jr. and an interview with a CHA resident. During the second day, we filmed a timelapse and b-roll at the Lowe’s Lincoln Park store and several CHA housing units. Both days, we filmed with our A7Sii camera. The third day was reserved for aerial drone filming . The client logged the interviews and created a script from which we edited the footage and provided to them to do a final cut and color. The video production first played at an employee meeting and was later shared on the company’s news website and social media.
