Wayne Illinois Outdoor Wedding

24 Jun Jilllian + Matthew // St Charles + Wayne

If I had to describe Jillian and Matthew’s wedding day in just one word, I’d have to pick “spectacular.” Everything about their day was the epitome of romance and glamour. It was amazingly beautiful. We were so honored to be a part of it.

The day started with Jillian and her bridesmaids getting ready at the father of the bride’s home in Wayne. The group was so happy to be together for such a special occasion, and that set a joyous tone for the rest of the day.

The couple exchanged vows before their 300 wedding guests at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in St. Charles. Jill and Matt chose to write their own wedding vows, which added a personal and emotional touch to the ceremony. It was hard to find a dry eye in the church!

From there, the couple and their guests headed back to Jillian’s father’s estate in Wayne for one fabulous celebration. Chandeliers and roses were draped underneath the white tent, which was exquisitely decorated by Heffernan Morgan Ronsley Event Design and Production. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the expansive grounds of the home and danced to the music by The Chicago Players. As a surprise to the couple, buckets of confetti dropped from the ceiling, ramping up the excitement on the dance floor. Jill and Matt departed their wedding along a trail of sparklers, and went on to their “Happily Ever After Party.”

It was a pleasure to capture the Jill and Matt’s wedding day on film, and of course we always enjoy working alongside Chicago’s favorite wedding planners, Big City Bride!

Centered Chef Wedding

14 May Melissa + Wesley // Centered Chef Chicago

Melissa and Wesley had known each other since grade school but their groups of friends never crossed paths…that was until their Junior year of high school. Melissa wanted to attend prom with her best friend and her boyfriend. Being the thoughtful person she is, Melissa wanted her best friend’s boyfriend to have a good time at prom. So, she asked his best friend (Wesley) to be her date. Melissa says they had a great time that evening. The four of them continued seeing each other throughout that Summer. Melissa and Wesley began officially dating in June.

Eight years later, Wesley proposed during a beautiful sunset at a spot the two enjoyed visiting throughout their teenage years. On that same day, Melissa bought Wesley a watch he’d been eyeing. On the back of the watch was an inscription, “Will you marry me?” Needless to say, it was a mutual proposal.
