I cant say enough about Nathan and his team of experts! They really captured every special moment and turned my dream into a reality. At first we weren’t even going to have a film crew at all because I didn’t think I needed one and it was way out of our budget…..but then I discovered Delack’s work and saw what a ‘same day edit’ was and there I was again…..BEGGING my dad to add in ‘just one more thing to make it a perfect day’! My dad asked me if it would “Make it ONE louder?” (from the movie Spinal Tap)…..Obviously my dad said yes once he saw a few sample trailers and OMG……it was worth EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR over our budget spent!everyone says your wedding goes by in a flash. All the planning for months for a 1 day party and that’s it…it’s over….and then it’s a little sad…..Well with the help from Nathan we get to relive it many times a day, everyday and it brings us back to all those magical moments that I might have forgotten over time. I’m on my honeymoon right now racking up TONS AND TONS of international data roaming charges watching it over and over again, showing it to anyone who will watch it and just watching it myself with Brett. I can’t help it because it is so beautiful.
There are so many wonderful things about Nathan that make him special and stand out amongst other cinematographers…..he has a calm nature, he’s sensitive, he’s reassuring and he pays attention to the tiniest details without you even knowing. 2 examples of this would be….on the back of my i phone cover it says, “Every love story is beautiful….but ours is my favorite.” Nathan grabbed that quote and used it for the start of our trailer. And my favorite example of how I know I chose the perfect person to film our wedding is…..my doggy passed away, after 13 1/2 years, suddenly 1 week before the wedding. It was the worst day of my life. When I talked to Nathan a few days later I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find happiness on my wedding day because I was so devastated…..He consoled me on the phone and was so sweet and reassuring that I knew everything would be ok. He told me that Dipsey would want me to be happy and that this happy time would help get me through the sad time. Well, he was right and at the end of the trailer he surprised me, with the help of my amazing sister, with a picture dedication to Dipsey to end the film. Everyone was in tears. What other film maker would do that? He is kind, talented, and made us look like movie stars in our own feature film. I can’t wait to get the whole film of our wedding back. Tears will be flowing for sure!! We love you Nathan and your awesome team! You really are the best. And with the combination of Robyn Rachel Photography….all I can say is WOW!
